How does Niche Designer Hire work/How to hire?
Once you have selected the garment you would like to hire, simply use our calendar to select the dates & place your booking. We offer both local pickup, or Aus wide Express Shipping! *For shipped orders, your first booking day represents when the garment will arrive to you. Please allow 3 day notice and 3 days delivery on all shipped items.
For local pick up, an email confirmation of pick up times will be sent prior. If you have any problems with hiring dates/availability, please send us an email nichedesignerhires@gmail.com
I've just placed an order with Express Shipping. How does it work?
Once we receive and post your order, a conformation email and tracking number will be sent to you. Your order should arrive to you on the first day of your selected rental period with us. *Please order at a minimum 3 days in advance to allow for shipping delays.
Within your order will be a prepaid Aus Post returns bag. On your final day as per your rental period, simply place your garment inside your returns bag, and drop it at the post!
I have just placed my pick up order. How does it work?
Once we receive your order, a confirmation email including available pick up/drop off times will be sent to you. Simply reply with your desired time slots and we will book you in! Pick up location and parking information will also be included.
*Your first day of your rental period represents your pick up day, and your last represents when the garment needs to be dropped back
Can I try the garments on?
Though spots are limited we do offer local (Brisbane) try ons! Simply go to the try ons tab & send through the garment you would like to try, plus a preferred date. We will be in touch to organise and arrange a time with you.
Interstate customers are provided a detailed size chart and measurements on request to help you choose the right size. Our customer service team can also assist you in selecting the appropriate size.
*Try ons are subject to the availability of the garment i.e. hired out/in dry cleaning.
How long am I able to hire for?
We currently offer 3 day hires in order to get the garments dry cleaned & ready for the following booking. If you require the garment for a longer period please send us an email inquiry!
Do I need to clean my garment before returning?
Niche will ensure your garment is cleaned prior and after your hiring. Cleaning fees will be included within the hire price and no additional fees will be charged unless the item is returned damaged.
What happens if i damage a garment?
As per our hire agreement, you agree that garments will be treated with care, and extra caution will be made regarding fake tan, perfume, makeup, drinks, stamps etc. We understand general hire wear, which should be corrected upon our routine dry clean.
However, in the case of garment damage upon return, the following will apply:
If the garment is returned with minor damages or staining (requiring additional dry cleaning) as per consultation with the cleaning provider, additional repair fees will apply. If following hires cannot be completed due to a delay in repairs of the garment, you are liable to paying an additional hire fee.
If the garment is stolen or returned with major damages determined by the discretion of Niche Designer hires and the cleaning provider, the consumer agrees to pay up to 200% of the RRP of the garment. *Subject to circumstance outlined in terms of service agreement.
What if my garment doesn’t fit?
If the dress doesn't fit, we offer store credit of the full value of the garment. Please contact our customer service team within 24 hours of receiving the dress to arrange the credit.
Can I rent multiple garments at once?
Yes, you can rent multiple dresses simultaneously, depending on availability. Please note that separate rental fees will apply to each dress garment.
How far in advance should I book my hire?
It's best to book your hire as early as possible to ensure availability, especially for popular dates or events. We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance.
